Good Thing Going is Frank and Charley's most major song in Merrily We Roll Along (Sondheim/Furth)

It was originally composed and written for an original show by Frank and Charley1981 or Take a left1985. However, after it is sung by Charley in 1963/1962, Gussie Carnegie and Joe Josephson put it in Musical Husbands.

The song is described in Now You Know as "a national treasure."[1]

Gussie preforms a version of it in Musical Husbands1985 and the song is, within canon, covered by Frank Sinatra and played prior to the interview[2] The cover of the song is an actual cover by Frank Sinatra, recorded before Merrily we Roll Along's late 1981 premier[3]
